Overseas Trip List 2010-2011

We've been running these trips since 1990. There were no other tours like these on the travel market when we began. 20 years later, we remain the only such tours on the market.

Flexible itineraries. If something turns out to be especially good, we have the flexibility to spend extra time there. Those who book early get to help choose the exact dates of departure and return.
You walk. Other transport may include airplanes, buses, taxis, boats, etc.
Flexible costs. Our fee covers the guide plus pre-trip organisation. You also have to pay your share of the expenses for meals, accommodation, transport, etc. The guide pays the same additional costs you do and will keep these as low as is consistent with safety and comfort.

We've done bits and pieces of the Carretera Austral over the years but we've never had the time to simply stop and explore whatever, whenever, wherever we felt like it. On this trip we'll hire a car or two and spend about four weeks driving, walking, and working out what new places we can include in future trips. Contact us for details.

We do not yet have our basic itinerary worked out. It will include some of the places we went in March-April 2007 as well as others we haven't visited before. The 2007 trip notes have some good links and show you the kind of trip it will be.
July-August 2011: 5-7 weeks	High Arctic Summer	$1950
A never to be repeated experience in the high arctic.
