Willis's Walkabouts is one of the few topographic map dealers in the NT.

This page indexes all the maps on this website and shows the maps and map products we have for sale.

We are happy to post maps anywhere in the world, within Australia, often at no charge.

Regional Maps

Where we are
This page shows where in relation to the rest of Australia and our neighbours to the north.
How distances compare to Europe
This map overlays a map of northern Australia onto one of Europe so that you can see just how large and how empty this region is.
The Top End
This page has a map which shows the area from the easternmost part of the Kimberley through to the eastern side of Arnhem Land. It shows the locations of the major Top End parks.
The Red Centre
This page has a map which shows the size and locations of the major parks in the Centre.
The Kimberley
This map shows the Kimberley and the places we go there.

The map on this page shows the entire park and the areas where we walk.
Kakadu Circle Trips
This map at the bottom of this page shows the relative locations of our four long circle routes and gives an indication of just how far you can get from vehicular tracks.

Kimberley

The maps that we used to link to no longer exist. The best we have found are Google maps. Click the link, then enter the name of the town and WA and you'll get a map where you can sdroll in or out for details.

Pilbara

The Tom Price visitor centre provides two useful, free printable maps.

Topographic Map Sales

We sell

all the topographic maps for the areas where we walk in Australia. Most of these are usually in stock.
Each set of trip notes, which you can reach from our tour list, lists the maps which are relevant to that walk.
We can provide every map which is available from Geoscience Australia.
If we don't have a map in stock, it will normally take one to two weeks for us to get it in and post it to you.

It can be a bit slow, but by ticking the scale of map you are interested in then zooming in, you will eventually get a detailed index of the maps covering the area which interests you.

We also sell a large 1:250000 scale map which covers all of Kakadu and tourist maps covering the Kimberley and Pilbara.

All maps are currently $9.25 each. Our price includes postage in Australia if you want the maps folded to A4 size. Please ask us for a quote if you want them posted unfolded or sent overseas.

Australia on CD. We can supply the NATMAP Raster, a digital copy of the 1:250 000 maps covering the whole of Australia. Price is $99 for the standard edition, $119 for the premium. Click the link below for more information.

No charge for shipping if we give you the book at the start of the trip. Otherwise the shipping cost depends on weight. This is about $2.50 for the Bungles book and something like $8 for Kakadu and Nitmiluk - you pay a lot for an extra 150 grams.
