Kakadu is Australia's largest national park. It is one of the few places in the world which has been declared a world heritage area for both natural and cultural reasons. Kakadu contains one of the world's greatest collections of prehistoric art, unique in representing the history of a still living culture. Many of Kakadu's birds, small animals and plants are found nowhere else.
Most of the park can be reached only on foot. There are no marked, overnight walking tracks. Willis's Walkabouts is the only tour operator who offers overnight walks (treks/bushwalks/hikes)in Kakadu. No one else can take you to see Jim Jim and Twin Falls up close in the wet season. No other tours allow you to camp above Jim Jim or Twin Falls at any time.
